Ajna chakra – third eye
Ajna chakra, the sixth in the ascending order
of seven chakras, is located slightly behind and between the eyes. It is said
to be the confluence of this world & the other world and is the seat of
awareness and freedom. Focusing on Ajna chakra helps an individual make prana
(life-force), the parasympathetic &
sympathetic nerve currents, flow to the esoteric central channel that starts
from the Muladhara chakra. A self disciplined individual living a righteous
spiritual life activates Ajna chakra through constant practice with focus and
conviction. Awakened/stimulated Ajna chakra promotes intelligence, sharpens
discriminative faculty, provides wisdom that helps an individual witness
his/her inner self, reflect deeply, think rationally and deal effectively with
the environment in relaxed form.
