Beliefs

Our Beliefs sometimes cause us discomfort. The beliefs are established for a good & positive reason to serve us in some way, shape or form. These are basically lies made up or conditioned with to help us frame the way our world looked at that time.  Beliefs are not eternal truths. Beliefs hold us safely until we are ready for the next level of understanding. The discomfort happens when we refuse to let the irrelevant/obsolete beliefs go and evolve beyond them. Hanging onto these beliefs, believing that they are real & that they are true reality creates suffering.

Life is a continual process of renewal, recycling emotions & purging of old beliefs that are causing suffering.  Become aware of and isolate the beliefs/coping skills that no longer serves, causes discomfort, realize the lie in it and set self free of it.

The ego, our psyche, separates us from one another. It is simply a tool that helps us organize the various aspects of our personality to navigate the world. In this sense, the ego is simply a way for us to understand & attend to ourselves at the same time as we understand & attend to the world around us. It is healthy to have ego, but like all things in life, ego functions best when it is in balance & harmony with your whole self.

The problem arises when the ego gets out of control, holds us from realizing our true nature and becomes a threat. Nurture your awareness of who you really are to keep your ego in check, take the responsibility for living your own life. Do not spend time trying to undo what you have done. Rather, change what you are going to do before you do it.

Looking toward the future remain relaxed & alert, listen carefully, pay attention to & believe your inner voice that speaks to you with love, understanding, & compassion, is encouraging, gives you hope & pushes you to trust & believe in yourself, bolsters your spirits & urge you to go after your dreams.

Inner conflict within oneself is often caused by dueling voices inside each one of us. Listening and believing in your true inner voice telling you about your value & your potential, often the voice of understanding, support, & self-assurance helps lessen & even resolve internal conflict. Disregard the voices that interfere with your resolve to succeed, are judgmental, cause confusion, remind you of past mistakes, or cause you to doubt yourself, make you feel ashamed & stop being critical of your failures & afraid of success.
