Stress is defined as any condition that places undue strain on body and mind.A stressor that causes stress can trigger the bodies automatic stress response system.This sets the stage for decrease immunity, vunerability to illness from Common Cold to Heart Attack and Cancer .
Common Manifestation of stress.
          
 Physical Symptoms :
  • Rapid Breathing , Dizziness.
  • Chronic and Reccurring Neck and Back Pain.
  • Diarrhoea and Constipation.
  • Acidity and Digestive Problem.
  • Palpitation and Chest pain.
  • Frequent Headache.
  • Tingling Sensation In Hands and Feet.
       
 Psychological Symptoms:
  • Change in appetite and increase in alcohol and nicotine consumption.
  • Insomnia and Disturbed Sleep Pattern.
  • Difficulty in Concentration , taking decisions.
  • Difficulty To cope up with setbacks
  • Decrease in Enjoyment and events.
  • Prolonged Anxiety.  

How to Help Your Eating During Stressful Time :
  • Listen to your body.Avoid food which upset your digestion.
  • No Dieting.It can increase stress.
  • Limit Alcohol and Caffeine intake which may cause sleep disorder and increases depression.
  • Eat Slowly. By not doing this it may cause digetive upset.
  • Eat Breakfast.If you are empty stomach stress can be more difficult to handle.
  • Eat Nutritious Food and sleep well.
Stress Reliving Tips :
  • Share your problem with friend family and Counsellor.
  • Make a thing-to-do list for the day.Discipline yourself.
  • Few Minutes each day sit quietly with your eyes closed.
  • Listen to music/do Aerobic/Dancing/Brisk Walk/Gardening.
  • Practice Deep Breathing,Yoga,Pranayama,Meditation.
  • Consider Having a Pet.It helps to relax oneself. 
  • Have Positive Attitude,Optimism,Enthusiasm and Forgiveness.
